Dear FutureMe,
YOU ARE AWESOME! Now go out and buy yourself something spiffy! :D
Love, PastMe on March 7, 8:56 PM

When I think about what I can write for this, I think of the two words 'Love Being' and try to shape something around that. Today, I love being a best friend, but more specifically a best friend to Kaitlyn, a girl I have known since before we can remember. I have written about Kaitlyn before in this, but now I'm going to tell you why I love being her best friend. Kaitlyn is just a month younger than I am, she used to live five houses down the street from me and we went to preschool together plus we were in girl scouts together for many years, she is more like a sister to me than anything else. We have always been there for each other and no matter what happens, we never judge, which is especially important because on wednesday her second son will be three weeks old. When Kaitlyn had her first child at sixteen she lost a lot of friends and when she moved away with her new boyfriend (she was forced out of her first son's life but her mother takes care of him) and had her second son she lost even more friends, but never lost me. I pride myself on being her best friend and godmother to her newborn son.

Today was the first day of the 2010 World Cup! I was up at 9:20 so I'd be awake enough for the first match at 10AM and then also watched the second match of the day. Neither Mexico nor France won in their respective matches, but they didn't loose either (both of today's games came out to be a tie.)
I decided to watch all of the games for the World Cup this year. I really love soccer, and I hadn't realized till now how much I miss it. The games today inspired me to go out back and play around with my soccer ball a bit.

Today's picture is of the Google homepage. Early this morning (about 12:30ish in the AM) I was sleepless and online and discovered Google had discarded their classic white background and colorful logo for a setup more like ask.com.
After initial shock I found out it was to only be a 24 hour test of the new option. However, I did Google "remove google background" dejectedly hoping to find some way to get my normal Google back. Later today I discovered that Google was back to normal after apparently many many people getting really upset about its change, fearing it was permanent. So only 11 hours into the 24 hour test Google pulled out and cancelled the thing, letting us all get back to our nice plain white page.
I think it's clear Google: we love the way you look. You are easy on our eyes and we don't need fancy pictures like ask.com; all we ask for is your awesome search engine. And that is all we need. Simplicity is better.

Nothing much happened today. I took Kat to get a bikini wax, but I don't think you would wanna see a picture of that XD
Today I'm finally making my mom watch White Collar. This show is made of awesome and Neal's suits are amazing. So are his eyes.
I got the first episode free off of itunes but it took me like six months to actually get around to watching it. Then it took me a weekend to watch the rest of the season.

Jen, Krista and I went to the city for Krista's birthday party. We went all around NYC going to places Krista's food blogs had declared "the best of ____", be it hot fudge sundaes, pretzel croissants, dumplings, or toasted marshmallow milkshakes. It was an insane day and we didn't get back till late and then I crashed, so that's why this photo is up a day late.
P.S. We didn't actually go into the Museum of Natural History, it was just a pretty place for a photoshoot haha

Today you get to see my entire store bought cd collection. As in, all of the cds I've gone out and actually spent money on instead of stealing it from a friend. Although I know I'm missing a few... I've got another Ryan Cabrera cd lying around somewhere....
Oh and I've got a signed Graham Colton cd on the top of the pile, but it's a flat one so you can't see it.

Last night I reorganized my bookcase; here's what I got done. I've got too many books in my room now and not enough space so I'm donating those I'll never read again, packing others into my closets, and only the books I love the most/am gonna read soon are staying in my shelf.
Upper left is Dan Brown and Dean Koontz, then Cicada (literary short story) magazines, The Shack, The Count of Monte Cristo, Great Gatsby, then a few of my stargate/serenity/doctor who books (got a lot more lying around somewhere....), then other science fiction books.
Second shelf: Harry Potter (can't find my 7th book), then the next four books are my favorite science books followed by just a few of my other science books.
And there you go. A taste of me and my life through my bookshelf.
Sooo...since Nicole already took care of describing the Glee concert I thought I could just share a few more pictures since mine came out sooo good =)
This is of the cast on the balcony before the show
This one is by far my favorite pic and turned out awesome
And of course Kurt's amazing outfit

Bad me. I never got around to taking a photo for yesterday until I woke up at like 5am and realized. So I jumped outta bed and decided to go Beatles Yellow Submarine themed cause I wore my new shirt for the first time yesterday. (So excuse the lack of creative lighting/angle, I had to use flash cause it was too dark otherwise.)
I absolutely love the Beatles, and the Yellow Submarine is without a doubt one of my favorite movies. I watch it all the time. I recently got the buttons and the keychain from the official online Beatles store. And keep a look out- those buttons will soon be part of an awesome project! :D
P.S. I went to a bonfire yesterday and saw people for the first time in ages. It was nice; I wish I'd taken a photo there.
PP.SS. The picture for 5.30 is gonna be put up the following day cause I'm going to the Glee concert (YAYYYYYYY) so I'ma use a picture from there and we won't get home from that till the early hours.

I found my GBA and GBcolor the other day and have now been re-obsessed with them. These are all the games I've got- Pokemon pinball being my favorite for the Game Boy, and Legend of Zelda The Minish Cap for the GBA. The Zelda is by far my favorite of the two; I'm close to beating it for a second time :)
I've also got Tony Hawk's Pro Skater, Spongebob Legend of the Lost Spatula, Tamagotchi, and Men in Black. I used to have Pokemon Blue but haven't been able to find it in years. If I had the money I'd go out to Gamestop and buy a bunch more games...

Today at 8pm Krista, Jen, and I went yogaing together. (Yes, I'm aware that yogaing is not an actual word.) We met up at LA Fitness and then went on to stretch to lengths of almost impossibility. Seriously our instructor had mad skills. She tried to get us all to do splits, but most of us couldn't do it to save our lives.
