I had just cozied down at my desk with my copy of the November 2009 issue of Popular Science that I picked up the other day in Barnes and Noble and a delicious classic yardbird (aka, grilled chicken sandwich from Paws) when I suddenly came across this. The little blue ticker at the bottom. And I began cracking up. On a page holding an article about earthquake proofing buildings and another on nuclear drought in hospitals I found this sentence outrageously funny and completely out of place. Glad to know that the scientists of the world know what's important. (Click on the image to enlarge it so you can actually read the words.)
